So, sadly, the Des Moines Renaissance Faire is over. We must continue with our normal lives, at least for another year. However, we have made so many good friends this year, and had a lot of good times as well. Dale and I got many compliments on his dragon slayer costume, which I made for him, and his axe, which he made out of pink insulation foam. Pictures will be up shortly. We had such a good time, with all the shows and the vendors to whom we happily gave a lot of business, especially the leather workers. I want to give a shout out to Crazy Boy Koi and to Thee Bluebeard, 2 amazing acts that if you have the chance to see, please do, and to Have Court, Will Travel, Their most Royal Majesties and their court. And to Sleepy Hollow Sports Park, for giving us such an amazing location and for hosting such a fun event, Thank you all so much

Well, this past year has been very interesting, to say the least. I started a new job, we have moved, sadly not to the farm we want, and have been spending the last 6 months getting the house in order and getting costumes made for the Des Moines Renaissance fair! Pictures from that will be up shortly. I have also made it a mission to be posting at least once a week from now on, and I will be setting up a youtube account with videos of different projects I will be doing. Going to start filming today in fact, since we just found our video camera again! Videos will be about several things, and I will be setting up my links page some more as well.
