Blessed Be
Well, here I am again, lucid and functional for at least a little while. I will be posting the pictures and article about the foot stool, before sketching out ideas for my altar with Dale. Most of the work on the foot stool was done by Dale, simply because I had to work, but I helped him stain the wood, and I think it turned out very nice. Hopefully tonight I will get the cushion for the stool made, and tomorrow, we can get the craft room and living room all organized, and then the kitchen will be on the slate for the rest of the week, in between other sewing and painting projects. But unto work!

Allergic reactions suck majorly. The itchiness, the welts, the throat closing up. I have had a miserable few days, to say the least. But now that I am off of work, I'm off to take Benadryl and sleep away my pain....hopefully. If I'm lucid enough this afternoon, I hope to get the pictures of the foot stool taken and uploaded, along with the article of how it was made, which was supposed to be posted two days ago, but, between work and trying to sleep without tearing off my skin....yeah, didn't happen. But, Mom loves her footstool, and when I get a pillow made for it, it will be completely complete.Work on my altar won't be started for a while, but I still plan on having an article up about Lughnasdh(Lammas) on Moday and to bake some bread. But, I'm off to sleep, and don't forget to clicky clicky!
Blessed Be Mom's foot stool is done and stained, now I just need to make a cushion for it! Seeing as she decided to spend an extra night at the cabin, I have some extra time. The next few projects that I will be doing is to get the artwork for Serenity's room done before Porschea's baby shower, and then Dale and I will be making me a permanent altar, when the living room gets cleaned up.....again.... Since I work again tonight, that will probably have to wait until Friday, but I hope to have it done before the first, since that is Lughnasadh, also know as Lammas. It is the first of the three harvest festivals, and as such, I will be doing some smaller crafts and holding a ritual. I will be baking some bread, from frozen dough sadly, not from fresh grain, but still, I love fresh bread, so it will be yummy. I went to the library, which is always a wonderful mistake, cause I never seem to get anything done when I come home with an armload of books, lol. So I'm off to read a little more before bed.
Blessed Be Ok, wow. Thank you to everyone who has viewed my website. Since it's creation on July 22, I have had over 157 page views. So yeah....THANK YOU!!!! If anyone is interested in building their own site here with Weebly, here's my referall link http://www.weebly.com/link/boiclA It's completely free, and really fun too. Today, me and Dale started working on mom's foot stool, and it is coming along well. We got the top cut to length, and the bottom supports cut and leveled so they are ready for Dale to cut the legs and attach them tomorrow. We went over to my Uncle Dean's house and used his drill press and routor bits to make a level groove for the legs to sit in since we are using driftwood again. Since I have to work tomorrow, I won't be able to help him put everything together like I did with the cat tree, but I will help finish it when I get home and make a cushion for Mom's feet. I will be posting another article about how we made the stool, when I is finished, and when Mom gets back from vacation, I will post pictures.
Blessed Be Well, Mom is off on her vacation with my aunts, and me and Dale have the whole house to ourselves, plus the cats. We still need to fix the skirting around the trailer from the last big wind storm we had, and we want to get the foot stool made before she gets back. Since Mom took the camera with her, I won't be able to take many pictures while it is being built, but will definitely take more when she gets back.
A big thank you to everyone who visited my site and clicked on ads, it is a wonderful help! I came to a realization last night, and that is that I need to post an article about what my faith is. Or maybe a page. Either way, I realized that there will be those who visit me and won't have any idea about what I am talking about half the time if I don't explain it, and a page with all the details will be much easier to do then trying to explain myself to each person individually. Don't get me wrong, I like talking to people, but sometimes the easy way is best, for sanity's sake, lol. Plus, it will help me to be understood more clearly, and if something changes, then I have a set place to tell people about it lol. So here in the next few days, I will try to get that posted. By the way, I love weebly.com!! Unlimited pages and hosting, for free. I just won't be able to post video on this website, so I might have to make a youtube channel. We'll see how things go. Anyways, that's all for now! Check back soon for more stuff. Blessed Be Well, we finally got the pictures of the cat tree we made uploaded onto my computer, so I will be posting those to the gallery shortly. We used plywood left over from another project for the base and top tier, driftwood for the posts, and particle board for the other tier and walkway. The kittens love it! We also finally got their toys put up on it, so they were going nuts a while ago. We forgot to take pictures while we were building it, so I will have to remember to do that for the next project, which is a foot stool for Mom's rocking chair.
We had a smaller cat tree to start with, but it is too short for the kittens to really stretch out on, but we made sure there was a space for it to sit in the larger one because they still like to play on it and use it as a stepping stool to get to the top. We put it next to the couch so we could watch them play, and they love running across the back of the couch onto the walkway. I'll explain how we built it in an article! Blessed Be Once again, I would like to thank you for stopping by my site. This is my very first website, so please, be patient while it is being built and improved. I will try to post as often as I can, and any suggestions and comments are welcome. On this page, you will find my thoughts and ideas, plans for projects to complete, updates on my cats, rituals I have preformed, info on updates to the site, links to videos, etc.
One thing I have found is that most sites I have visited incorporate their faith into the information that they provide, and mine shall do the same. However, there will be something for everyone to enjoy on my site, at least I hope so, and I only ask that if there is something you disagree with, to ignore it. Or at least be civil and polite in your comments. I am very open minded, and I hope this site reflects on that. Thank you. |
